Our Mission:
We meet communities, people, and organizers where they are. We assess their needs as defined by them and the we find the tools and resources to assist them in long-term sustainability for all.

Red Heart Coalition was created in the spring of 2023 as a reaction to a high need for mutual aid and to the preparation needed for the General Strike. Originally RHC met needs purely through mutual aid request posts uploaded and shared on TikTok. This was very effective! By the end of 2023, RHC had kept many members fed, housed, their phone bills paid, and transportation secured. In addition, we had grown sunflower crops, distributed free seed and sunflower product, and started gathering members to the same physical location.

The group continues to grow in strength and numbers. Our next goals include acquiring property for a base of operations, and creating an online learning center. This will enable us to teach others how to create and run their own mutual aid coalitions.

Red Heart Coalition knows that basic necessities, dignity, and a life worth living are human rights. We will fight and organize until all have access to that reality.
